Dr. Garrett

Jessica Huntington, DVM

Dr. Huntington’s primary focus is the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries in the rodeo horse.  She enjoys providing her clients with the highest level of performance horse medicine including- lameness exams, joint injections and dental procedures. She is also proficient in keeping your horses healthy with vaccinations, deworming, digital Coggins & health certificates.

Dr. Huntington’s personal experience showing and training the rodeo horse allows her a well rounded and knowledgeable understanding of her clients’ needs and what it takes to manage and proactively treat the barrel and rope horse.

Dr. Dorris

Dustin Dorris, DVM

Dr. Dorris has joined Stephenville Equine Sports Medicine as an owning partner. Dustin’s reputation and expertise in managing equine athletes is well known in the Cowboy Capital area.

As an accomplished farrier turned veterinarian, he is one of a few cadre of equine podiatrists in the country and has worked side by side many of the pioneers of this field. Dr. Dorris serves all needs of equine athletes but enjoys focusing on equine lameness (with a special interest in performance problems of the foot), reproductive services, export work, and herd health.

Hometown: Groesbeck, Texas and have currently lived in Stephenville for 6 years.
Advanced training: Tarleton State University
Personal interests: enjoy participating in anything horse related, barrels, roping, and sortings. I currently own 2 horses Rain and Spaz, two dogs Lane and Tigger, and a cat named Ziggy.

Cierra Moore, LVT

Hometown: Madill, Oklahoma.
Advanced training: I graduated from Murray State College with my Associates in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, and have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2010.
Personal interests: I enjoy showing and breeding my Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds and my Miniature American Shepherds in my free time and have raised and shown multiple champions.

Hillary Latson

Hometown: Ennis, Texas and I have lived in Stephenville for 4 years.
Advanced Training: Tarleton State University
Personal Interests: I enjoy going to roping’s with my fiancé. We currently have two horses, Lady and Lucy. We also have four dogs Abby, Dally, Bueno, and June bug. My personal hobbies include playing golf, tennis, going to church, and spending quality time with my family.

Hannah Rhoades

Hometown: Bowie, TX
Advanced training: Undergrad at Tarleton State University. B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Biology
Personal interests: I enjoy rodeo as well as reading and traveling.
